Rules governing how you may use the Propreneur platform

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the Propreneur platform operated by Verlox Ltd. This policy applies to all users of the Platform and forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Platform only for lawful business purposes related to property investment, sourcing, management, and mentoring. Permitted uses include:
Managing your property deal pipeline and portfolio
Recording and managing investor relationships
Running property financial calculations
Tracking compliance requirements for your property business
Managing mentoring relationships and programme delivery
Using Carina AI to assist with property analysis
Booking and managing consultation calls
3. Prohibited Use
You must not use the Platform for any of the following:
3.1 Illegal Activities
Any activity that violates UK law or the law of any jurisdiction in which you operate
Money laundering, fraud, or any financial crime
Circumventing anti-money laundering (AML) or know your customer (KYC) requirements
Facilitating unlicensed property investment advice or regulated financial services
3.2 Harmful or Abusive Conduct
Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users or Verlox staff
Uploading content that is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
Impersonating any person, organisation, or brand
Misrepresenting your qualifications, experience, or credentials to mentees or investors
3.3 Technical Misuse
Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform
Attempting to breach or bypass security or authentication measures
Introducing malware, viruses, or any malicious code
Using automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
Accessing another user's account or data without authorisation
Overloading the Platform with excessive requests or automated traffic
3.4 Intellectual Property
Reproducing, distributing, or selling Platform content without permission
Removing or obscuring any proprietary notices or branding
Using the Propreneur or Verlox brand without written authorisation
3.5 Data Misuse
Uploading personal data of third parties without appropriate legal basis
Processing sensitive personal data in violation of UK GDPR
Using the Platform to store or share confidential information belonging to others without authorisation
4. Investor Data and Financial Compliance
If you use the Platform to manage investor relationships and raise private finance, you are responsible for ensuring that your activities comply with applicable financial regulations, including the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) and any FCA requirements. Propreneur is a management tool only — it does not constitute a regulated financial service and does not authorise you to carry out regulated activities.
5. Tenant Responsibilities
If you subscribe to the Platform as a tenant (operator account), you are responsible for the conduct of any users you add to your workspace. You must ensure all users within your tenant account are aware of and comply with this AUP.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate appropriately.
7. Consequences of Violation
Violation of this AUP may result in:
A warning and requirement to remedy the violation
Temporary suspension of your account
Permanent termination of your account without refund
Referral to law enforcement authorities where appropriate
Legal action to recover damages
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
